iPad test

A few weeks ago I wrote a blog about the Apple iPad, but how does it work in practice and how do users think about the appliance? In the following video the Apple iPad is tested by bright.tv:

The test person mentions the iPad is not very heavy, it weights 600-700 grams. The menu is the same as the iPhone menu, a touch screen with application codes and the same scroll functions. Moreover, the iPhone apps operate on the iPad too. Then a smaller, iPhone like screen appears on the iPad. Furthermore, there are specific iPad apps that make use of the whole screen, for instance a browser (“to hold the internet in your hands”), YouTube and iBook.

The iPad has advantages and disadvantages. Some people think it is a useful device, while others think it is unnecessary because people have smart phones and laptops. In the tester’s opinion, the iPad is a useful device and is handy to read recipes in the kitchen or to read in bed. In these respects, an iPad is easier in use than a laptop or a smart phone. Watch the video and let me know your opinion! This was the last blog post for my course Media Use in Organizations. Thank you for reading, I hope you enjoyed it!
